Ok so we all need a little motivation to get active. I thought back to elementary school when I got this cool certificate saying that the President of the United States (Ronald Reagan, showing my age) was proud of my athletic ability. Ok so really my teacher had sent in and a few of us that liked P.E. got these awards. My point is that it was and is cool to be active and the program lives on. Go to this link and you will see other helps on how to get active and even if you want to sign up for a challenge there are rewards! So try something new that gets you moving!

Get Active
Okay it has been a few weeks and the word is out about this blog. So in order for it work, I need you all to give me your info and post it here on this site. The weather is getting warmer (some days) and I know you are just itching to take a nice walk/stroll/jog/run with a friend or two. So let us all know what you are doing. Any activity is a good activity, so share.
Also we are going to have an "Active Activity" once a month as the weather gets better. So keep checking back to get the info.

Runners..on your mark
Get ready..Go! We have a lot of ladies that want to exercise in the Legacy Park Ward. It seems like we just need some coordinating and some comunication. I thought this site could be used as a bulletin board for everyone to see what is going on.
In our ward there is a growing amount of runners. I hear a marathon is coming up. If you train or would like to start let me know and we'll get you hooked up.
If walking is more your pace, I can set a schedule up for neighborhood clusters. If you already walk, let me know and I can pass it on to others in your area.
Basically if you like to do something to stay active, someone else will too. And we all like a little company to make the sweat go by faster. So, do as I'm doing and start exercising.
